Vintage stove top coffee roaster. Found it at an estate sale.
There are no markings or numbers on it.
Back in the old days coffee was introduced to north America as a hot or warm drink made from green beans from south America.
About 1852 and all the beans were green that's the way beans came and had to be roasted or turned brown then ground then brewed . So there was a need for kitchen stove top coffee roasting.
There are many other forms of antique coffee roasters but this one is unusual.
