this tea cup is paper thin! it's so thin its scary! lol...i love it but i probably will never drink tea from it. it has made in china stamp on the bottom in red capital letters. the cup has only one woman on it but the saucer has two :) it has some asian character writing on it but i have no clue what it says :( it almost matches the bowl/planter i got a few months ago and i still don't know what that one says either...any help with info would be greatly appreciated....love this site!...been thinking about it and this tea cup is almost like a light bulb...wonder if it was made out of glass?
sure would be nice if CW would hire an asian antique expert ;)
Update:
Hooray! lol...finally found out what it is!!
they call this type of teacup an eggshell! circa 1930s...can't believe it took over 2 months to get ANY info about this very pretty cup....anywayz thanks 4 lookin'
