Last night's curb find. When I was kid I would have loved to have had this premier board. Notice the long mag wheels and the movie theme depiction. It also has a metal piece on the back to guard the tail. I am going out now to preform my 360 -- I let you now how it went from the emergency room...

Lundy Which hospital should we write you at :-) Boy that reminds me of my son on his and those jumping ramps that nearly gave me a heart attack to watch . Very nice Lundy and now I will worry because instead son has taken up a equally dangerous hobby . Thanks for sharing it !
Sorry Mani, trunkman is no longer with us. Hes left me all of his belongings, said that he had thought of you you and asked if you would help me load his stuff up.
Great find.
I remember when wooden Roller Derby brand skateboards came out, circa 1959 or 1960. I was 11 or so, just old enough to get in trouble with it.
Well I meant trunkman lol Ok now ya'll know the truth " I have blind spot in eye and burned retina's " It is really bothering me this week. I can miss whole words when I am reading unless I look at it several times . I can ID easy by photo . This small type font and black against white leaves me with a occasional mistype :-(
On the other hand Lundy have a wonderful vanity I would take Mikie :-)
Sorry Trunkman . What hospital are you at ? after a joy ride :-)
Just back from ER -- nothing broken, just minor scratches. My signature 360 was amazing except for the final 10 degrees, wherein the skateboard became airborne and gravity called me home. Almost made you tube with that one! Thanks Manikin, you skills are no longer required but I almost put in a call -- thanks packrat-place, Hunter, mikkochristmas11 and forgetful eye4beauty.
I would have brought my handy ER bag too :-) Glad you survived lol
Eye4beauty -- I know you can do do the 540 -- but did you have your hands tied behind you back? I think not. And yes the trunk makes great subterfuge -- they are still wandering around the park searching for "Jaws"!
Thanks for showing! I had this same board back in the mid 70s. Same blue with wide red wheels, but mine was plain without the Jaws marking. Brings back some good memories of: bumps, bruises, scrapes..but a lot of fun haha!
Thanks Nickscrustystuff, eye4beauty, elayem0110, mikkochristmas11, hunter, packratplace and Manikin!
i just notice this and have to say my skate board which is wooden . has the same mag wheels on it first time in a long time i have seen the same red mag wheels very cool
Thanks stonesfan1, PhilDavidAM, cezchman, mikielikessigns2 and Bell for the look see...
I had a yellow one same exact size as this..not Jaws though..had no markings on it. Got it in 1970 I think. The owner/collector from a Detroit skate board shop in 1997ish said he'd give me $700 for it if I could find it! He said it was the first ever made. I checked my mom's,brothers and sisters for it then found my brother gave it away to a kid in the neighborhood years earlier. It the $700 figure is true you have a great find!
....I hated it! they were so hard to ride. Mine had narrower wheels. Death devices!!! lol
This particular model goes for a lot less than that -- but still holds some good value. I could not walk away from it and let the garbage truck mash it. I do not think I would attempt to ride it.
It is always about potential dude...
