*First Edition* - The World's Fair, Its Meaning and Scope, Its Old-World Friends, Their Countries, Customs, and Religions. What they will exhibit. The United States at the Fair, the city and the site, the Colossal Structures. Beautifully illustrated with fantastic engravings and some color lithographs. Shown on this posting is a color lithograph of Melanesian and Micronesian Weapons and Implements and a color lithograph of an Native American Sioux War Dance. I will follow this posting with another post of four of the beautiful engraved illustrations.
This book is chock-full of engravings and lithographs from all areas of the World and includes the peoples, architecture, tools and implements, ancient pottery, agriculture, religions, etc..
