"The World's Fair" - by H.G. Cutler - Copyright 1891 by Star Publishing Company. Published in 1891 by Star Publishing Company, Chicago.
*First Edition* - The World's Fair, Its Meaning and Scope, Its Old-World Friends, Their Countries, Customs, and Religions. What they will exhibit. The United States at the Fair, the city and the site, the Colossal Structures. Beautifully illustrated with fantastic engravings and some color lithographs.
(Posting #2) Shown on this posting are four of the fabulous engravings from throughout this book - The first is a "Bedouin Chief" on horseback, the second is "A Woman of Syria", the third is called "Traveling Women" from the Australia section 'Interior Savages', and the last is called "A Dutch Romance" and seems to be a copy of an actual painting signed by Carl Marr, Munchen (Munich)
See Posting #1 if you are interested in additional pictures or information of your specific area. This book covers the entire World.
