The Electrolarm is most common in a brown "walnut" bakelite case, with limited production in white and pistaschio green "vinylite." Most have reeded brass trim strips. This example has tri-tone wood trim. There are enough around with this exact trim treatment to tell me that this was not a one-off do-it-yourself retrofit, but a factory option. There were three dial styles and the brown version typically had a brass bezel.
This was the first Telechron alarm clock and may have been the first self-starting electric alarm clock ever. It was NOT designed by Paul Frankl, but likely in-house by Warren Telechron staff.
