The Electrolarm is most common in a brown "walnut" bakelite case, with limited production in white and pistaschio green "Vinylite." Most have reeded brass trim strips. This example has tri-tone wooden trim. Although never pictured in Telechron advertising, there are enough of these around with this exact trim treatment to suggest that this was not a one-off do-it-yourself retrofit, but a factory option. The brown version with brass trim strips typically had a brass bezel as well. There were three dial styles offered.
This was the first Telechron clock with an alarm and it may have been the first self-starting electric alarm clock ever. It was NOT designed by Paul Frankl, but likely in-house by Warren Telechron staff.
