My mother in law gave me this book, it was given to her by her aunt in Aug 1941. It has pictures and a narrative for each plane in service at the time. I personally find the ads so much more interesting. This was a souvenir book. Here is a link to a pdf advert publicizing it. http://www.flightglobal.com/pdfarchive/view/1941/1941%20-%200408.html I couldn't find much else about it online, course I didn't hunt too hard.
