I have 2 of these that have never seen a shop or those greasy hands that accompany. My mother rode her own 73' commando with her boyfriend who was a collector from Ohio who had about 30 Nortons the majority ran but a few were basket/parts bikes. He had to have a shop built to put them in. These spent their lives on her bookshelf till her death when I inherited them. Give'em Hell Mum!!

Thanks mustangtony.
Do you have any pics of your biker Mum?
Sounds like she marched to the beat of her own drum, or rode to the rumble of her own Norton:-)
Nothing like the rumble of a Norton in the morning! (It must always be hoped it's not the main bearings tho!) ;)
