This bust is 20" tall x 12" wide - chalkware w/ patina. it's in pretty decent condition. I've seen that they are reproducing these today - a little different, but close. I wonder if this is an old one or a repro? even if it is a repro, i still like it. from a yardsale today - along w/ lots of old deer antlers.

If there is something called a whiteware shop in your town, you can see many of these. There was one in the last city I lived in and she had very many that were this size and larger. They also made whiteware (which basically is plaster) pedestals which there are many reproductions of the greek style. Most of them are not finished and you can buy all sorts of water based paints there now to do the work yourself. She even taught classes although I think they just painted in those classes. I used to own these type of things when I was poor and I loved them, they were quite inexpensive back in the early 1980's and made something of a revival. They even had the panthers that were popular in the 1950's !~Phil
