I have 4 of these metal crates that say Pabst. I live in Milwaukee so I'm sure they came from the original brewery, but I have no idea what they were used for. Maybe they were used for the beer ingredients or bottles? I can't seem to find anything about them anywhere online. Does anybody have any clues or hints as to what they might be?

They are real keepsakes ! I can ask my friend when he gets back to town he works at pabst Mansion . Maybe he will know what they used them for . I would say putting beer bottles in ? Very nice ! Could they have been used for mail ? Moved from place to place around factory ?
