this wrench is about 15" long and has numbers on it - like to measure something. The other side has an impressed 'K29' w/ an impressed copyright symbol underneath it. any ideas what it's for?

It's an old farm tool, a plow wrench, often by La Crosse Plow Company out of Wisconsin. Take a look on this page about 1/3 of the way down. They have it listed as K29 Plow Wrench - no name variant. Hope this helps! :-)
