Bill Graham Presents... at the Avalon - 1978.
Someone gave me a big bag of paper stuff which was given to him by the mother of the person who owned it, who had passed away. I went through all of it and it was all trash except this piece which was hidden under all the junk. this is just a reminder to go through all of it, because there might be a little gem in there somewhere!

Hi ho2cultcha:
Cool piece, even if it's a bit tattered. Is this on newsprint? This show was actually produced by Chet Helms, who did all the shows at the Avalon in the late 1960s. Graham had nothing to do with it (and was probably pissed off that it was happening at all...). The artist for this image is Randy Tuten. Stanley Mouse also did a poster for this event. Both will be at the upcoming Rock Poster Society show on August 18th at the Cannery in SF. It's free!
wow! thank you belltown. i'm going to try to make it. i have a few other rock posters too, and a few blues ones too.
belltown - it's on very fine paper - more tissue than newsprint.
Hi ho2cultcha:
Sorry for the tardy reply. I will be there all day, so please introduce yourself. My name is Ben. Just ask anyone at the TRPS table for me; they should be able to find me.
