Estate sale find. Been stored inside for years.
1957 Scott-Atwater 10HP outboard motor.
Scott-Atwater out of Minneapolis MN built motors for a lot of other retailers as well Hiawatha, Firestone, and Corsair, were just a few.
This is what is called a Bail-O-Matic motor and has a small strainer/pickup tha layed in the bottom of the boat and automatically siphoned off exccess water that may splash in
I'm not a boat guy but I couldn't pass this up. Now if I can just sell it before I find a period boat that it would fit... LOL.
