Nice collection! Would love to see that Sandinista in person. How big is it?
Chris
Hey Chris - It's a decent size - at least standard poster size. I'm not in the same location as the poster is right now so I can't measure it.
- Tim
Hey Tim,
Thanks I was just curious. Sometimes reprints are like 1/4 the original size and can be misleading. Yours isn't up for knabs is it? BTW is this the same Tim at the ClashBlog??? If so, that would be a riot. I just stumbled on this sight one night looking for vintage motorcycle racing sweaters.
All roads reach Clash!
Chris
Love the clash, favorite is the London Calling album cover!
Hey Chris -
Sorry I haven't been able to measure that poster. Heavy winter here in the NY area has my mind on other things. All of my Clash posters are up for grabs, I just haven't actually tried selling them. I have the 3 pictured here, as well as the black horizontal one for the US release of the first album, and the huge one sold at the Bonds gigs in 1981. If you're serious email me via stupefactionblog [@] gmail.com. I'm connected online to Tim from the Clash blog but that's not me. I blog at http://theworldsamess.blogspot.com.
Chris - the black Clash poster I have can be seen here: http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/634-my-mostly-music-poster-collection-part-2?in=user
