Its not a Southwestern Indian piece, its Alaskan Inuit. Older one too. Too bad about the fading :[

Hard to tell if its old or if its just been exposed to sunlight. The colors on the inside are very bright. Might not be TOO old actually. Look up "Inuit basket" or "Eskimo basket" on Google Images or eBay to see the current market values
