These little signs were used in drugstores, gas stations and the like, back in the 1960s. Coke made a bunch of these, in all different shapes and themes in the 1960s. Vacuform is what these signs are, a type of plastic, formed from a mold and heating process. 50 years old and very brittle indeed. I had to seal some of the cracks in this sign to prevent further damage. Now I just gotta figure out how to hang it without damaging it or keep it from falling and shattering in a million pieces,,,lol. It's kind of like bark off a tree trunk.

I've been tempted by the plastic sign auctions many times. Those things can go for big bucks! Nice one Signaholic.
I have one (Hotdog and Coke). And I have it velcro-attached to a shadowbox-type frame. Bought it at Micheal's Craft Store. Had the velcro already on the inside of the frame. A great way to display it.
I'd love to see that one Ray! Great idea too, thanks! I hear ya Dave, they are very interesting and can go for much less than the regular metal signs, depending on age and condition. Thanks Dave!
Thanks also to Ed, Michael, elayem and chrissylovescats!
Hey thank you Spriteboy!
Thank you Longings!
Nice one
I have the bottle version of this sign. I haven't seen the cup version before. I also framed mine in a shadow box frame.
Very cool Spriteboy! I had a chance to buy the bottle version as well but dropped the ball on that one.

How do you do it Sign? You got the luck of a *^%#/^ !
I don't know what a *^%#/^! is but I thank you Mike! I tell you how I do it, my wife is constantly searching the for places to go and we go every weekend to one of those. Secondly, we are both constantly searching the internet for items for sale. I won't tell you the rest of my secrets, for this, you must be related to me and not a collector ;)
