Hi, the Owl pitcher say Las Vegas and under that says TROPICANA, isn't that where the Rat Pack, F. Sinatra and them put on shows, in the Owl Room? Other pitcher I bought long time ago, only because it was tall, 12 1/2 " high Maybe not old at all, just checking, toracat

I saw another one at online auction, it sold for $12.00. I did not bid because I have one and shipping was $8 and handling $2.
Good to know there are others out there looking for a new home. I would have jumped all over the one for you saw for $12. A plain pitcher without any frills will run more than that retail these days. I would really love to find two. I have a special friend who is very fond of birds of all sorts who I think would love it for a conversation piece. I guess if I find one I would give it to her first and wait on mine. She is very dear to me and I have been looking for just the right thing to send her for months. Time to get on the hunt...thanks for the info toracat!

LOL!! I feel I should let you know that I rarely buy anything on impulse these days due to the economy and an extremely limited budget to work with. And almost always with a little effort and diligence I find exactly the same thing listed somewhere for much cheaper, so although the desire to own it is definetly there, I will likely go on the prowl for a while and wait to find it at a much more affordable price...But I have to ask...Why the push telling me to buy it? Even if I did yours would still win the Coolest contest because you posted it here first. I cant compete with that on any level. I will however let you know if and when I do get one if it makes you feel a little better. Thanks for the fun topic toracat!
I think the Owl and the Rat Pack, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Joey Bishop, They did many shows there, and maybe it will be a special in the future, and I thought $19.00 was a good price!
