This was 1967-1968, I was 18, I picked these up off ground by Cambodia border in Tay Ninh Province. The red one shows how much money USA will pay for turning in weapons. The other shows woman needs husband home to work and help with family! Surrender! Come Home to me! Third photo is me (tall one 18) with grenade next to head of Nicholas Cutinha (Porky), He is bravest man in world, Received Congressional Medal of Honor, He died at Hoc Mon Bridge along with 49 other brave Americans in 8 minute ambush. He saved 9 Young American boys lives while taking 15 brave North Vietnamese to there death. I got mad at him a few times and called him a crazy Greek and he would roar with laughter, 30 years after the war I googled his name and found out his family immigrated from India! Now wonder he laughed. Next photo is Michael Frost and me. I have grenade launcher. He died also at Hoc Mon bridge. He was a very gentle and caring 21 year old. I put these photos and many others on WALL so families and friends could see. There is a book about 8 minute ambush called "Unfortunate Sons" by L. D. James. We were the Manchus" 4/9 25th Inf. I am wearing Catholic Rosarie black plastic, for camouflage, Priest flew out gave service to Catholics,(I am not Catholic) but watched, I asked him as he was leaving for one, He asked if I was Catholic, I said NO, but I would feel safer with one, I guess he blessed me? Put his hand on me, said something, and gave me one, I really think it helped me to survive. toracat
