This is a great, old-fashioned museum in a small town in central vermont. as is often the case, it was built by a local industrialist to house and show off their amazing collections. i love to visit these little museums. these are pics i took a few years ago when i took my nieces/nephews there on a rainy day. the second photo is a framed artwork made from butterfly wings.

Looks like your nieces/nephews enjoyed their day!
yes, it was pretty large - about 2'x 3'. they had a number of them - all done in designs from around the 1850s-70s.
thanks scand pieces and walksoftly. it was a great day. i only had my iphone to take pics w/ that day - hence the poor quality photos.
So glad that your nieces/nephews and you were able to spend time together in this beautiful setting. Wonderful photo of your family!!! : ) miKKo
