This one has it all. Ciselé decor, enamel and cabochons. About 6" high. When I first saw it I thought it was another papillon, but when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised. I really need to shoot this one again, the photo is off-center and makes it look lopsided. Another hard to photograph decor and shape, really needs more lighting. Ok, I just replaced the photo with a better-lit one, and I have it in a position that is more symmetrical (that other photo bugged me).

I have the exact same decor on a different shape ( posted on CW earlier ). I was under the impression this decor is called " Norma ".
The Norma pieces I have seen, both in person and in books, have a smoother appearance than the Ciselé decorated ones, almost like Silberiris. Ciselé looks like a very fine version of papillon, almost completely covering the ground color, but with small gaps. This difference has often caused confusion, but a look through the Loetz books (I have the new Neue Gallerie version of the Cantz book open in front of me) will show photos of both decors. It says in Norma, the covering is an applied powder. In Neuwirth's 1900 book, pages 225-226 show excellent close up photos of Ciselé.
Not Norma, definitely ciselé. Awesome!
MUCH THANKS FOR THE NORMA INFO.
