Czechoslovakia Art Deco Vase with Flower Frog Red Tango Glass with cobalt and white mottling around base.. piece is unmarked... Alfredo's Post of ( CZECH TANGO DESIGNER IDENTIFIED: KOSTYAN) has inspired me to post this piece.. I have always thought it was Kralik.... could still be.. 4 1/2" tall.... Alfredo, would love to know your input.. would this be by Kostyan as well?

It so happens there was an exhibition of Tango glass in the Czech Republic. You must have received the information from kevin Gummer through the GH. If not, tell me. It certainly matches a Kostyan design.
I did receive all that info on tango recently... thank you!

Must have missed this.
I'd say kralik :)
ks85, why Kralik?
Documented Franz Tomaschicka. We at the Glasshounds have the evidence from Jitka's recent Tango glass exhibition. Now the rub. Was it that he worked for kralik? Jitka does not point that out. Kostyan, by the way is a town, not a name.
Since Al said they were designed by the same person and mine have a Kralik mark, I assume yours were also Kralik. I could very well be wrong though.
which mark?..can u show mark in pics?
I was referring the to pair I posted a bit ago.

sorry didnt see the mark the first look :) i see now..definately a kralik mark...hmmm
The lighting wasn't the best and I didn't have much time so it was hard to get a good picture of the either vase's mark....both have the kralik semicircle though.
sometimes those marks esp on mottled areas can be a tuff nut to crack photo wise.. and i think it's time for me some eye glasses !
I hear that. I've looked at pieces 4 or 5 times before noticing a mark. Sometimes it just takes the perfect lighting and the perfect angle.
thank you Leah ;)
