Don't know anything about this doll. It has a plastic face & wire body.. The wire is wrapped with gauze & the hands & feet are stuffed felt. It appears to be professionally made but there are no tags or marks anywhere that I could find. Any info would be great! Thanks for looking!

Hi your doll has a mask celluloid face . It was used as a novelty doll . Not to play with but to display on a bed or shelf . She is made to sit and pose . Dates 1950 . Several companies did these mask face dolls and many were homemade as you could buy kits to make them
Here is a example that is taken apart so you can see how made .His clothes are off and in bad shape but shows construction .

Here is a photo of how you bought faces and would make body that was in another kit. Your doll seems to be homemade and done nicely ! Or it was factory and has that pixie look like a Christmas doll .

Thanks so much for the info! And for always being so helpful & kind with everyone & willing to share your knowledge. I appreciate that. The original owner was a great seamstress so I wouldn't be surprised if she made her.

Hello ma'am, I just seen your post. I have several dolls like this that my daddy handmade for us girls in the family. Mine is in a white with black lace outfit with my name and dob on side. I would love to know where you found your precious baby. My dad has passed away and we never found his belongings because the evil step mother took off with them. Thank you soooo much
