I really don't know much about the age of this lamp, it has to be over 30+ yrs. old considering I remember it since I was a little kid (it was my Grandfathers). I was trying to see if anyone had some info. on this piece since I could not find anything on it. The labeling on the bottle feels like paint. There is no markings on the bottom. The bottle itself is 20 inches high and about 17 inches around.Any info would be appreciated, thank you. BTW I am glad that I stumbled upon this site, it is highly interesting.

No markings whatsoever on the bottom. I scoured ebay and craigslist and can't find anything about this lamp.

jfout81, I have had several of those large bottles in my family, some of them with the lamp hardware. I had relatives who worked at Old Joe.

Do you still have the lamp and bottle?
