My husband and I found this piece in a local barn while picking up donations for a local clothing bank. The owner saw me admiring it and told us to take it as it had been sitting in the barn unused for more than 20 years.
On the inside of the single drawer, there is a cloth tag on the left side that reads "Broyhill Premier Division" This is the only indication on the piece as to what it is.
I have searched the web over...and over....and over. I have spent countless hours searching and I cannot find a single piece similar to this. In my search, I have become quite familiar with the mid-century Broyhill Premier lines (Forward 70, Brasilia, Saga, Sculptra) but none of these have the lines or styles that my piece has. Am I wrong in assuming that it is mid-century? Can someone please help to identify this, I would like to know if it is part of a collection so that I could possibly find mathcing pieces in the future.
Also is this a credenza, sideboard, buffet???
Thanks in advance.
