Hello, I have this ebony cribbage board, the pegs are brass, but once were maybe covered in gold? as some flakes still on them. There is no box for it. My step father brought back the ivory one after WW-2, He was Admiral Nimitz's Dr. When he and my mother passed I got both, but do not know history of the ebony one, I now believe it is Urdu writing, that is language spoken in Pakistan and many people in India speak also, this I got from internet. I looked at Arabic writing and not right, so I think it is Urdu! If anyone knows someone that can read this please help me out! toracat! IT IS NOT URDU WRITING I THINK IT IS HINDI!
