    I purchased these train cars at an estate sale. Wondering if anyone is familiar with them? I don't know any more than that. They're a couple inches high and about 5" long, estimates. Thanks

      made in china/taiwan,"real" cast iron toys have smooth seams and casting,if this is as rough feeling as it looks if not old.sorry

      Thanks for the quick response. Yes, they are rough. Made in China, of what material? Also, I have listed another train item, the large black sculpture/cast iron, not sure. They are really wonerful, and they too are rough. I'm trying to also determine if these large trains are unique, as they have initials formed on each one. Thanks for any help.

      made of cast iron, could still be 30 years old.
