so far, all i know is the backstamp dates this piece as made in 1918 japan. there are no chips or cracks but some of the gold has worn off on the handle. it measures 4 inches high. i thought it was a mate for another noritake pitcher that i have but once i got this one home it was very similar but not the same. this one is a little smaller than the other one and this one has a pretty blue bird, flowers and a cage. wish me luck... i hope i can find out more about my great little find. love this site!
