Another item from my wife's French side of the family . This crib was inherited by us a few years back . Needs to be treated better! Since this picture was taken I have cleaned it up and it looks so much better. This was her great- grandmothers baby cradle . As you can see the date is 1878. Very special to her as it should be!

Yes it does have a rocking mechanism that is amazingly still intact !
