What a great piece! It brings me back to the school days in the 50's, 60's, after school we would all go to Lilly Drug store, hoping to get a seat at the counter. You know, those red upholstered seats you could spin around on forever. The "jerk" employee would mix up a delicious vanilla or cherry coke, sundaes came in glass boats, and lime rickeys and raspberry rickeys would cut your thirst as well. And I remember the ice cream tasting far superior to what we now have in the supermarket.
now that's 50s, 50s!
These are the best! I had a soda fountain for many years. We had a three head Hamilton Beach Malt Machine and two like yours that we would pull out from under the counter when we had a rush. We also had a porcelain Hamilton Beach Juicer and a Malt Dispenser that matched.
It sure does bring back memories, I'll have a 'Coffee Malted Please'. Love it!!!!
Thanks for all the love and comments, those shakers are so great and the colors are really cool, I'm looking after a three head but I always found broken ones, i hope to gfind one in good condition some day
