Found this in a shed my Dad had used it to store oil in, took some elbow grease to clean it up.
It is 11.5" tall 8" dia.
1 gallon?
I've tried finding info online, but no luck.
markings on bottom include a horizontal diamond with a D inside, letters Rd & 1935
It has a wonderful applied rope motif, a flat spot for a label & 14 flattened surfaces that look like barrel staves.
I was thinking possibly a vinegar, wine or syrup bottle.
From it's D inside a diamond mark it was mfg. by Dominion Glass Company, Montreal, Quebec

First question - Does that top part come off?
The diamond with the D inside could be Dominion Glass Co. Montreal, Canada
