At 1st glance, I thought celtic but after closer view, am not sure it's purely celtic. I'm no expert on this sort of thing but it has me intrigued. maybe viking/danish? Have you taken it to any experts or musee' people? You may have a very interesting piece concerning pre Columbian history of the America's.
