i think this is the very first antique that i purchased about 1 yr ago. when i got it i remember it was heavily soiled with what i presumed was kitchen grease but i am not sure, anyways, i got it home and hand washed it with the rest of my dishes. it cleaned up easily. i bought it because it was so unusual. it's in mint condition and measures 13in L x 7in W. it has these curled rims. the gold has worn off but very minimal if you think about its age. i looked up the backstamp online and found out that this unusual server is from the Toronto National Club and is a piece of true Canadian heritage. it was made around 1905 i think, i will have to look it up again to be sure. for now it sits with my angus and greener charger plate and it is one of my most treasured finds. i never knew anything about limoges until i got this very interesting piece. now when i come across a limoges item i usually try to purchase it, if the price is within my budget. thank you for looking and if you have any info regarding this piece please leave me a comment...love this site!
