The New Haven Clock Co. 1853 - 1946
They started making large "dollar type" watches in 1880 to 1946 and made about 40,000,000. They got their production up to about 200 watches a day.
In 1946 they reorganized as New Haven Clock & Watch Co. & went bankrupt in 1956.
This is their "Bull Dog" dollar watch packaged in the Bull Dog watch box.
It has a metal two tone silver dial (the crystal has yellowed).
It has an engraved style (stamped case).
