MADE IN SPAIN
(I found this on wikipedia)
Amadeo I (Italian Amedeo, sometimes Latinized as Amadeus) (May 30, 1845 – January 18, 1890) was the second son of King Victor Emmanuel II of Italy. He was known for most of his life as Duke of Aosta, but served briefly as King of Spain from 1870 to 1873.

That's all I can find out about it.
Thanks for looking,
Dave

I have one of these (as seen on http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/65143-round-spain-sliver-coin-pocket-knife). It's from 1871 and the coin alone is described in Spanish as follows: "Moneda De 5 Pesetas De Plata 1871. 25 Gramos De Plata 900." The coin is worth a nice amount but what about the coin pocket knife? Is it worth less because it has been altered to a pocket knife?

A coin collector wants a coin and not a knife. As a collectible coin this has no value.
