When I unpacked this beaut yesterday I was elated. Speed Nymph : Art Deco Mascot Masterpiece
About the time I was in the market I saw a very poor reproduction on E-bay and I was shocked that people were actually bidding on it. The legs were cut off !!~
I bought this from Denhams Auctioneers in England about 3 weeks ago. The detail on this original is beautiful and more wonderful than I imagined. It is silver plated bronze (not polished) and it looks particularly good beside my Sasportas Batman, they have the same posturing which is what art deco is all about.
It looks perfect with one of the art deco bases I showed the other day.
