I chose these three outfits because I think they belong with the Vogue Afternoon series of 1950--the 'D' group......I have two of the three, but sadly I do not know their names for sure......Is the peach dress with the pink bow at the waist 'Debbie?' Is the waffle weave pink dress with the appliqued felt flowers on the skirt, 'Christie?' How about the last one, which I don't own yet--is that 'Kathy,' 11D? I was hoping someone out there knew these answers. They are the tough ones. I have many of the 1950 outfits, but I cannot find a resource book that names these particular ones. In the case of the first--'Debbie'--the photo I see in the Izen/Stover book is so weak and out of focus that I cannot distinquish it.
I do appreciate any help from you experts on Vogue Ginny out there!

Hi, The last doll is called "Merry Lee" #148 and the photograph you have is from the Bell Collection. This is from the Vogue Dolls Through the Years by Patricia R. Smith. I have never seen this dress but once when I bought a large lot of clothes and it was tucked away in the trunk. Its lovely and I still have the dress only I need the pale green ribbon and flowers that were stapled to the head. Ca. 1949-50, Painted lashes. Best, Robin
