late20's thru the early 50's would be proper time frame. These are great. I have a black leather one(not as nice as this one). My question is, What type of fasteners on the strap? That would tell us a little more when it might be made.

Kerry,it has a chrome plated buckle on elastic bands on the ends of the strap.Hope this helps you help me!
