Can you help me solve this mystery?
This came from Grandma who passed in the 80s at about 80. She was raised in the U.S. but the family came from Germany.
The doll is all cloth with no markings. It is in amazing condition.
She seems to be sawdust filled. Eyes and mouth are painted on her stockinette attached face. The attached pink bonnet and cloth outfit are velvet. Her head is flat like a babyland rag doll. I have only seen pictures of the printed babyland dolls so I don't know what they looked like in the first few years.
Any ideas?
