I was going through some boxes of old family photos and found this one.
The photo folder caught my attention.
I have not been able to match the name on the back with anyone in the family research my father had done, but my mothers great-grandfather was born in Germany in 1851 and moved to the United States in 1870.
The photo folder/frame is 6-1/8 inches long and 3-1/4 inches wide. The top and back cover is 0.18 mm thick brown paper with a crown & (maybe) wheat embossed on the cover. The photo card is 1.42 mm thick with a swastika embossed at the bottom. The photo seems to be glued on the card and I do not know what the photo type is.
Can anyone date this folder and give any information about this folder type?
Thanks for looking,
Dave

After doing some digging through old family albums, family bibles, family tree research, I finally found out who is in this photo.
Anna Stewart (Lincoln) my great-great grandmother at 5 months old as written on back of photo.
Born on August 30, 1853 (so photo would date to Jan. 1854).
AR8Jason (Kevin) hit another home-run here. Thanks Kevin.
