I have recently acquired an assortment of watch movements and parts from an old friend of the family who
Pasted away last year. He made some of his living off repairing watches. These watches now are considered antique.
It seems like he worked with specifically one brand.
Most if not all are pocket watch movement and really small watches that I believe are used for cufflinks. They are mainly the windup type. I haven’t inspected each watch (to many for my time) but the many that I did take a look at seem to be in somewhat working condition. For instance the ones I tried will wind, tick and tell time but its missing a knob or a hand, some of them seem like they need no repairs.
I am looking for a rough estimate for each watch or any watch from this company.
I appreciate any one who is able to help.
