I picked up this beautiful Loetz Vase last year at a local Garage Sale. The seller was the classic Hoarder who decided to houseclean. Needless to say this vase was gritty, caked brown and uninspectable at the time. I took a chance that it would clean up and be in reasonable shape so I purchased it for a very very reasonable price. As I was cleaning it in a large plastic pail with hot soapy water, it gradually revealed itself into this large & stunning LOETZ TITANIA Dunkelblau Mit Margrum vase from 1905-06. It measures 11" tall by 9" at the widest and has a polished deep pontil...no markings. I love those hoarders!! LOU

Actually, over the years, there has been literally hundreds of fabulous finds. Unfortunately, I have a bit of Hoarding blood in me so I'll probably need to have an "Intervention" to snap me out of it.... or invite those Rich "American Pickers"....LOL

I plan on selling this vase in the very near future and I noticed that Loetz Collectors have books on this Titania Vase that reference the pattern number, designer (possibly) and the exact date of manufacture. From what I see, my best bet in selling it would be through eBay. Any ideas or specific info. greatly appreciated. RER (BOB) LOUMANAL
