I was raised in Tulsa, when i turned 18 i moved into one of dads appartments in Sand Springs so he could get me closer to work. I was'nt nieve to this town, id worked here of & on during summers in school. The first time i was here, i got into a car wreck, it just got stranger & stranger. After meeting some locals, they came by after work to pick me up & go crusin. Asked me if i had seen the graveyard, which i had'nt, so they drove me to Atwoods parking-lot & what do i see? THIS. Seems that the property developers negotiated an agreement, back when. Hear you go, they could'nt re-locate the graveyard, so they built around it.

thank you Sean.
Your very welcome :)
thank you Mani, did you ever see that t.v. show called "Srange Days"? It was filmed here!
thank you trgrubaugh
Sometimes when an old cemetary is considered a historical sight they are not allowed to relocate it. I remember an old 1800's slave cemetary in NJ that was surrounded by businesses and homes. In your first picture it looks like there is a large stone with a marker plaque on it. If you get a chance, check that out. The cemetary in NJ had a Historical Places Plaque mounted on the fence.
will do tony, thanks for the info. . remember "looking" at that hat post earlier, the one you could'nt see? go back there.
Mikie I never saw show called strange days but I have seen some right in my front yard . I think the title of your photo is not RIP but RIBZ . That is rest in business zone . Somehow I think I would lose my interest in shopping and eating at that mall . I would get depressed thinking of all the people that thought they were buried under a tree in a quiet hill :-)
It seems knowbody even give's this a second thought Mani. If you need an electronic part, just walk around the graveyard and get it at Radio Shack. Make's you wonder if Atwoods does'nt sell gravestones.
thank you, musikchoo!
