This is a postcard (Comicard by Clem) postmarked Markleevile, Calif. Aug. 7, 1956 sent to my grandfather from his sister, who was fishing on the East Carson River, between Hwy. 88 & Hwy. 4 just west of the Nevada State Line.
She loved fishing and was 60 years old at this time. She writes, "Dear Bro., This is me fishing - I sit so long in one place with my sore knee, the cobwebs gather and the fish laugh."
