Hello all,
Again, my favorite bargain store had a find. You know when you see things, and that feeling of Pick that up - it is something interesting? That was the feeling when I caught the bit of red of the cardinal in the frame. After some research, I found it to be a Hugh Haynie, 1981 a cartoonist at "The Constitution Journal" in Louisville, Kentucky. This is a four series cartoon of the basketball NCA tournament. It seems that UL and University of Kentucky have a rivalry and they might have matched up. BUT do to a loose they did not.
All four are in one frame, nicely matted.
I have the Artist information, what I would like to have, is how to tell if these are hand colored and if they are AP?
Any guidance would be nice.
Thanks
