This Kralik Shell vase just came today form Charleston West Virginia...and may i say, I still cant get over it! this was ANOTHER LUCKY FIND!.. dirt cheap and seller had no clue.. I swear to you the Vase was displayed in the photos on the auction page UPSIDE DOWN! they actually thought it was meant to be displayed this way..AMAZINGLY enough it is absolutely free of any damage :) was FILTHY and i soaked it in efferdent and scrub gently with tooth brush came out STUNNING.. this Meteor decor is also called Silveria, and i believe this is one of the examples listed in monograph 59 Kralik Glassworks reprint from the WVMOAG (ironically enough, it came out of WV) out of the 6 Shell vase's shown mine is the one on display furthest to the right of the pic you see above.. this vase has a clear applied leaf base and stand 8 1/4" or so and has a 2" opening.. IM IN HEAVEN :) Photos were taken outside in natural light

Thanks Leah
I wasn't really back - just checking in briefly en route through Fougeres. Back now though! It's a toss up between catching up with work, and catching up with CW. CW wins for now!
LOL.. glad your back and hope your holiday was fantastic!!
It was, thank you! But a sadly glass free zone ...
thats not good :( my love is traveling back to bournemouth next week.. any good glass in bournemouth?
Er - no idea! I would think Brighton, down the coast, might be a better bet - loads of antique shops. I haven't been to Bournemouth in years - It's 90 miles away, which is too far to make the effort when it usually takes more than an hour to travel the 10 miles just to get out of London!
