Purchased through an on-line auction, old school (shudder) bid-a-thon:
A late twenties glass sign with decals and deco stencil applied to back, then an overcoat of reflective paint, then a layer of cardstock paper glued to finish. Stamped "Manufactured by Decorative Mirror Supply Company, Inc. High Point, North Carolina". This is a very lightweight sign, right around a pound, I'd say. It has condition issues, but this particular version is hard to come by, so I'll enjoy this one until I have an opportunity to upgrade. It looks like it's been around for a hundred years (almost!). Condition snobs out there stuck in the past might turn their noses up at this type of piece. I say "thanks, less competition!" I've had good success upgrading then selling the mid-quality items at a profit (on avg +30% after fees). There's a huge market out there if It's The Real Thing.

Hey Dave, I was almost your bidding comp ;) on this one. I had bought too many things, so had to let it go to someone else. Glad it was you buddy! Super Cool piece!
Thanks Perry. I thought for a second I might get it at a lower price. But then there was another interested party who drove up price. When the dust settled, I ended up getting it for 25 less than my pre-determined max. Bid auctions can be brutal sometimes!
Sweet snag Dave, I saw that one as well. There have been a lot of Coke items in the auctions lately. I was onboard for a couple of the tin signs right until the old, multi-thou bids were flying.
Mirror, mirror on the wall...who's the.........?
Nice mirror Dave. It's a reflection of you and your savvy bidding skills.
Thanks Tommy, always good to hear from you. Yeah, I knew when I saw a '38 tray go for 600, I had stepped into the Coca-Cola Twilight Zone...
miKKo - You're awesome! Thanks for stopping by!
TGBWC, thanks... I think... :)
You're right there Dave. It's a gamble of a different kind but when you win,,,,,well, we do a little dance round here! Scream and holler, it's pretty funny.
Nice buy Dave, looks like a score to me!
