What I thought was an overpriced, local crate or box turned out to be something very different. This is a 36 bottle crate drawer from Huebner Breweries of Toledo. This crate/drawer also has handles for carrying. What is was specifically used for I do not know; but it probably was used to transport bottles to the various drinking establishments in the area. Whether or not the bar kept this drawer until it is was empty; I do not know. I did find a similar box in a book that dates this to approximately 1910. Huebner was out of buisness by 1922.
