This was my great-uncle's (Floyd Burton, married my grandfather's sister) gas station & garage in Chester, California.
I'm not sure of date of these photo's, but I have letters & postcards addressed to this address in the late 40's and early 50's.
Station & garage photos taken at different time, due to amount of snow present.
Photo #1 & 2:
Sign under stations front window is a Veedol Oil Sign.
Photo #3:
Quaker State Motor Oil sign in snow behind the snow covered truck.
Sign above opened door: VEEDOL Saftey-Check LUBRICATION
Photo #4:
Garage mechanics & crew. Floyd Burton on far right.
Exide Batteries sign above window.
Thanks for looking,
Dave
