ANOTHER FAB ITEM IVE MANAGED TO PAY VERY VERY LOW FOR ONLINE. THIS PAST WEEK . SIZE IS 6 2/8 AND 1 3/4 AT THE OPENING INCHES TALL AND
HERES SOME HISTORY IVE PULLED UP FROM WIKIPEDIA:
Riihimäki Glass was in 1910 a Finnish glass factory, which was located in Riihimäki Riihimäki-Loppi railroad. It was a versatile industrial glass manufacturer and a renowned art glass manufacturer. The factory was in operation from 1910-1990.

So 1361 is a design by Tamara Aladin? I've also seen a version engraved all over attributed to Nanny Still. What I like about this design is the size of the clear section and the top of the vase. It's heavy, no? Let's see what austro says!

Nice design and great colour, almost bought a taller version today, except it was steel blue coloured and acid stamped & number engraved.
Oddly, unless I've gone mad, I can't seem to find this design on designlasi.com which is a bit weird.
Anyhoo, I have seen this attributed to both Aladin & Still so I do not have a clue! Sowwy!

I totally missed this one... and it's one I'd really like to have at home! LOL
I cannot help much with this as I haven't got my books with me at the moment (one life, two homes... really tough!) but I'd swear it's a design but Tamara Aladin... or at ñeast she's got a very simmilar design. In any case, there is a lot of mistery Riihimäki pieces, even if they're signed like this one... but I think would this be a Nanny Still piece would be signed with her name or wouldn't be signed at all.
I have got two Riihimäki glasses signed the same way like this one, with number 1360... they're a design by Laura Paloheimo from the mid 1960s. Who can this Laura be is a total mistery to me, I have never found anything about a designer with such a name.
I'll be able to tell more within a couple of days.
